Haiti was one of the first places in the Americas to cultivate coffee, with production dating back to the 1730s. By 1788, the country supplied half of the world’s coffee. However, Haiti’s coffee industry has endured cycles of boom and bust, facing significant challenges in recent years due to natural disasters and political instability.

Blue Pine coffee is a rare gem, grown at 1,400 meters above sea level in nutrient-rich soil under shade—an uncommon practice in Haiti. Like Jamaica, Haiti benefits from its own unique microclimate and is the most mountainous country in the Caribbean, providing ideal conditions for exceptional coffee.

This fully washed Caturra variety embodies Haiti’s rich coffee heritage, offering a refined and unforgettable flavor experience.

Expect a smooth, low-acidity cup with a full, creamy body. Indulge in notes of chocolate, caramel, sweet cream, and dark fruit—like biting into a dark chocolate-covered cherry.
